Lemon Honey Oat Bars

Recently I found online a recipe for Lemon Honey Oat Bars and I decided to try this new recipe for a dessert that caught my eyes from Sarah Herman’s blog Starvingtostrong.

Lemon Honey Oat Bars

Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 25 minutes
Total Time 35 minutes

Ingredients

  • ½ cup melted coconut oil
  • 2 eggs (room temperature)
  • ¼ cup honey
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • ¼ cup coconut sugar
  • ½ cup oats
  • 2 tsp baking powder

Instructions

    1. Turn on the oven and heat it up to 350 degrees.

    2. Use a large mixing bowl, where you can easily mix egg, coconut oil, honey and lemon.

    3. The flour, sugar and baking powder mix together into a separate bowl.

    4. In the second bowl with the flour add to the mixture the oats and mix well.

    5. After that add the mixture from the second bowl to the first and mix it well.

    6. Use an 8x8 baking dish and spread butter at the bottom.

    7. Pour the ready mixture into the baking dish and bake in the oven for about 25 minutes.

    8. When it is ready, remove it and let it cool.
